Emilie Bennison started composing music at the age of 14. After completing two AMEB exams for piano, she discovered that writing music was far more exciting and creative, and decided not to persue performance with piano but rather composition. She wrote her first piano piece when she was 14 and performed it at the 2010 La Salle College Soiree.
Although she does not have alot of interest in performing herself, Emilie has participated in many public music events and ensembles. She was a member of the La Salle College Concert Band (Flute) and String ensemble ( Piano) and participated in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival in 2009-2012. In 2012 Emilie was chosen to be a member of the orchestra for the La Salle College Production of "The Wiz" and also as a member of the orchestra for the 2012 La Salle College Production of the "Mikado."
Emilie is currently studying at WAAPA (Bachelor of Music) majoring in Composition and Music Technology.
